Mango is my favorite fruit. I often make a smoothie with mango to enjoy in the hot days. Mango is not only good for health but also for beauty care. Mango is full of vitamin C that helps reduce skin aging and promotes skin elasticity. Plus, this fruit comes with antioxidants and phytochemical, which offer the skin the nourishing boosts. So, using mango on the skin will make it become beautifully. You should not skip it to care for the skin. Now let’s take a look at these mango face mask recipes!

1. Mango Face Mask For Hydrating

As mentioned above, mango is high in vitamin C and potassium that keep your skin smooth, supple and soft. So this face mask is best for people having dry or combination skin. It’s advised to follow this mask regularly to make the skin look lustrous and healthy as well. Besides mango, this recipe also contains two more ingredients- honey and yogurt. Yogurt is loaded with B-vitamins, zinc and lactic acid, which help hydrate and moisturize the skin. Especially, the live cultures housed in probiotic yogurt can destroy the harmful bacteria as well as other germs on the surface of the skin. Honey, on the other hand, is natural humectants. The antibacterial, antifungal agents present in honey help get rid of acne caused due to bacterial. Here is the recipe you should try:

You will need

  • 1 tsp of honey
  • 1 tbsp of mango pulp
  • 1 tsp of yogurt

Procedure:

  • First, you need to well mix the three ingredients in one small mixing bowl.
  • Then, apply this paste onto your clean face with clean fingertips in a circular motion.
  • Allow this mask to stay for 10-15 minutes.
  • After this, remove this mask by using a warm washcloth.
  • Finally, rinse off by using cold water and pat dry by using a soft towel.

2. Avocado And Mango Face Mask For Nourishing

Both avocado and coconut oil in this mask are useful for supple youthful skin. Coconut oil helps in lubricating dry skin and also removing acne. Avocado, on the other hand, come with antioxidants and phytochemicals that will moisture and hydrate skin. Besides, avocado clears out acne and blackheads. To make this mask, follow these instructions below:

You will need:

  • 1 tbsp of mango pulp
  • 1 tsp of coconut oil
  • 2 tsp of pureed avocado

Procedure:

  • Stir all the ingredients in one small mixing bowl well until a consistent smooth mask is formed.
  • Onto your clean face slather this mask in a circular motion. Allow it to settle for around 10 to 15 minutes.
  • After that, rinse off by using cool water. At last, pat dry by using a clean soft towel.

3. Mango Face Mask For Exfoliating

The mango pulp helps in smoothening rough skin and removes dark spots and discolorations. A mild abrasive texture present in oats helps remove dead cells from the surface of the skin. Here’s the recipe:

You will need:

  • 2 tsp of ground oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp of mango pulp

Procedure:

  • In one small mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Gently slather this solution onto your clean face in a circular motion.
  • Allow it to penetrate deep into the pores.
  • After 25-20 minutes, rinse off by using warm water first and then cold water in order to close off pores.

4. Refreshing Mango Face Mask

This mask will add a glow to the skin. Here’s the recipe:

You will need:

  • One medium sized ripe mango
  • 7-8 almonds
  • 2-3 tsp of oats
  • 2 tsp of raw milk
  • Water
  • 3 tsp of fuller’s earth

Procedure:

  • First of all, take the pulp of the mango. Next, grind the almonds and then add to it.
  • After that, add 2-3 tsp of oatmeal, 2 tsp of raw milk together, water and 3 tsp of fuller’s earth to it.
  • Grind them together till you attain a homogenous mixture.
  • Now apply this mixture on your face and wait for 15 minutes. Scrub the face in a circular motion and at last, rinse off with water.
  • You should apply this mask once or twice per week for best results.
