3 DIY Blackhead Removing Tips

Blackheads come up when skin pores get clogged with excess oil, dead skin cells, bacteria and dirt. Work takes me travelling quite a bit. Its fun visiting places and connecting with people but my nose tells a divergent story! It blackens like crazy with blackheads due to my skin being exposed to dirt, pollution, weather variations and lack of sleep.

It’s time to draw the battle lines and fight them off with these 3 DIY home tips:

Coriander and turmeric special: Turmeric is an ancient antiseptic and anti-inflammatory herb, which has benefited millions around the world through centuries. Coriander on the other hand is known to be a natural astringent and helps to reduce the oiliness on the skin thus keeping your face fresh, clean and dry. Simply mix turmeric powder and coriander juice and apply it on your face daily for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water. You will notice your nose shining for all the good reasons in 15 to 20 days.

Tea tree wonder: Tea tree oil is a skin friendly option to removal of blackheads in comparison to the cleansing action of synthetic chemicals like salicylic acid. Tea tree is known to have a dual effect on your skin. Firstly, it removes the excess oil and dirt on the surface of the skin. Secondly, it roots through the epidermis and reduces the secretion of oil. Simple apply tea tree oil directly to your nose and other facial areas where these plugs are prone to appear. Do this simple dab- on daily for results to be seen in a month’s time.

Tomato splat on your face: Love this! A mashed tomato is one of the easiest and most beneficial to remove blackheads. Tomato soaks the excess oils and at the same time removes dead skin cells, which leads to renewal of the skin surface. With blackhead reduction this tomato splat lightens up your face reducing your tan or pigmented areas. Fill two needs with one deed! Simply relax with mashed tomato on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.
