My last jaunt to the drugstore left me with a small hole in my pocket. My latest possession, an eye serum was the culprit here:) These little wonder tubes help wipe off the unwanted frown/laugh lines and crow’s feet taking years off your peepers. Also true is that many eye serums work on specific eye problems. With the holiday cheer and extra time at hand , I’m donning the beautician cap and making my own organic eye serum right at home! Join in guys, let’s have some fun:)
The Ultimate Eye Serum
Combine all the ingredients together in a clean and dry glass bottle. Take one drop on your finger tips and apply. This eye serum is great for normal to oily skin. The Grape seed oil has powerful anti oxidants and anti inflammatory qualities and is easily absorbed into the skin. Pomegranate oil fights free radicals and promotes skin regeneration. Cranberry seed oil is very rich in tocotrienols (vitamin E) and other antioxidants. It is also very rich in Omega 3,6 and 9 as well as in EFA’s which are not found in other oils.
Anti Aging Eye Serum
Mix the essential oils to the jojoba oil and store in a clean glass jar. Use a drop of this serum and smoothen gently below your eyes and on the brow bone. This eye serum has restorative qualities and helps in keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay. The jojoba oil easily penetrates the three layers of the skin and is able to provide skin protection. The vitamin E contained in the jojoba oil makes the skin soft and supple. Rose oil and Chamomile oil help in delaying the aging process as they both speed skin turnover.
Anti Wrinkle Eye Serum for younger women
Starting eye skin care early is a good way to keep the area around your eye area looking youthful and fresh.
Combine all of these ingredients together and store in a clean glass jar. Make a drop of this serum a part of your nightly beauty routine and wake up to bright, refreshed and a wrinkle free eye area. The Rosewood seed oil is very rich in Vitamin A and helps in delaying skin aging and aids cell regeneration. It also helps in the collagen and elastin levels to increase making the eye area elastic and firm. Hazelnut oil is an excellent emollient, strengthens capillaries and is good for use on all skin types.
Use the best quality ingredients to make your eye serum for best results. When using an eye serum keep in mind that less is more. Use a drop and see the benefits!
