Valentine’s Day is all about love, connections, fruitful relationships and everlasting friendships:) With these pleasant feelings in my heart, I’d like to share and thank some of my friends who have made a difference in my perception of beauty, taught me few things about inner beauty making me feel confident in my skin:)
- Shelly Truesdell loves this simple Olive oil facial. She quotes, “Just cleanse, then exfoliate, tone – and liberally apply the olive oil and massage for a minute or two. Leave it on for another 10, and use a damp cloth to remove (do not wash) Massage the remnant in for moisturizer. Your face will be smoother than a babies booty for days”.
- Gia shared this sexy, velvety mask spreading Valentine cheer:) Blend 1//4 Cup of Fresh Organic Raspberries, 1 Tablespoon Manuka or Raw Local Honey, 1 Teaspoon of powdered Cocoa, 1-2 Tablespoons Organic Almond Milk until it becomes a smooth velvety consistency. Apply your mask from a bowl with either an applicator or facial brush making sure you avoid the eye area for 10 minutes. Simple breathe and relax. Rinse off with tepid water.
- BLACKswanBeauty has this to say on DIY Valentine specials, “Plain yogurt w/ oatmeal and a little honey works well for all skin types. Also try a mashed apple and honey mask. The Vitamin C brightens skin, acidity reduces oil production and acts as a natural exfoliant.”
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Happy Skin = Happy You:)
