Are dry, chapped, hyper pigmented or scaly elbows a part of your identity? Surprisingly, we land up with bad looking elbows with our neglecting them in our skin care regimes. A little effort and care will transform your corners:)
Being Proactive Is Good: Why wait till the skin becomes coarse and rugged? It’s wise to be proactive and regularly care for the elbows by exfoliating and moisturizing them. This will keep them smooth and hydrated. Exfoliating will help remove dead cells and reduce dullness. You can use sugar and salt scrubs, ground oats and coffee scrubs. Cleanse daily with a soft, not so harsh cleanser for soft corners. It’s a good idea to use an oil based moisturizer for your elbow skin to keep it well hydrated.
Soak Time: Spoil your elbows beautiful, by dipping them in warm water to which a teaspoon of baking soda and some shower gel is added. Soak your elbows into this water for 15 min., pat dry later. Then apply a peeling mask and massage your elbows for a couple of minutes each. Thereon slather a Vitamin A and E enriched moisturizer. Hello to kissable elbows!
Grandma’s remedy: Here’s a traditional recipe to brighten your elbows. Divide a lemon in two halves and insert your elbow in each. Sounds funny, doesn’t it? Keep your elbows lemon-ized for 20 minutes. Then rinse them with warm water. Apply a moisturizer later. Do this once every week to keep your elbows smiling:)
