Get Summer Savvy – Flaunt Swimwear Fit For You

Finding the right swimsuit has been one of the toughest fashion choices that I have had to make. Was looking sexy and savvy in a swimsuit only the privilege of women with perfect bods? With a little bit of research I discovered that whatever your shape might be, there is a swimsuit ‘right’ for you :)   So gear up and get ready to make a splash!

The Curvy babe: Being curvy is in and the beach is not the place to shy away from flaunting your curves. If you have a curvy bottom, don’t try to hide it behind a tutu skirt and definitely skip those boy shorts! Aim for higher cuts that accentuate the length of your legs. Make sure that you buy suits that are the correct size, are stretchy and don’t dig in. One shoulder maillots (one-piece swimsuit), two shoulder maillots, diagonal cut maillots work best for the curvy body. For top heavy women deep V neck maillots are very cleavage flattering as they elongate the body. Halter top bikinis and tankinis also work well since they provide the uplift and coverage without skimming on the sexiness. Choose darker colors, prints and work with color blockings.

The tummy trimmer: Have that post pregnancy belly or a bit of a pooch bothering you? Fear not as there is a swimsuit to flatter your body type as well. Try swimsuits that have side cut outs that reveal just enough skin but cover your problem spot. Side ruching on tankinis also works beautifully when you have a bit of a belly problem. You could even try a belted one piece swim suit. The belt clichés your waist in and gives you that foxy figure. Try the high waist two piece vintage look to get that chic look.

The small bust buster: If you are small on top then make ruffles, frills and fringes your best friend. Embellishments pump up the volume and give you that fuller look. Patterns and paddings also work wonderfully to give you the extra pump. Stay away from droopy bandeaus that do nothing for your bust line. Use a little bit of string on your bikini top to play up the cleavage.

The plus sizer: You don’t have to stick to boring designs and all covered swimsuits. Try a one piece swimsuit that has sturdy straps, a good bra and good coverage for you backside. Try a swimsuit that has a deep V neckline and very high cut bottom. You will also find swimsuits with supportive lining that help in shrinking your middle giving you that curvy look. Try angled stripes which give an illusion of a nipped in waist. Opt for darker colors like midnight blue, black, aubergine to create a slimmer look.

Now that you have your swimwear ready pack in your oversized sunglasses, pareos and a pair of wedge heels and set the temperatures soaring!
