Did you flaunt your feet to the sun, sand, water and surf this summer? All the summer fun and elemental exposure has left your feet yearning for love and affection. Why not incorporate a little TLC for your feet by pampering them with ‘spa-style’ foot soaks.

Here are five amazing foot soaks that will keep your peds happy and relaxed sending relief soaring through your body:

Tea detox foot soak- Spend a lot of time in the day on your feet? Then this soak is perfect for you. This detoxifying tea foot soak will help you relax and soothe your tired feet after that long day. For this foot soak you need:

1 cup Epsom Salt

1 unopened peppermint tea bag

1 unopened chamomile tea bag

Take a basin full of warm water and add all these items to it. Soak your feet in for 20 minutes and feel refreshed.

Moisturizing and nourishing foot soak- To keep your feet looking soft, nourished and moisturized try the honey and almond oil foot soak. Honey has wonderful antibacterial properties that help in keeping your feet detoxed and soft. The almond oil provides the extra healing and nourishment that your peds will need. We also use vanilla extract and gentle liquid soap for that extra cleansing and spa like feel. For this foot soak you will need:

1 large tablespoon of natural honey

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil

1 tablespoon of gentle liquid soap

Take a basin of warm water and add all these ingredients to it. Make sure that the water is enough to cover your feet entirely. Now let your feet soak for twenty minutes. Add some rose petals for a more exotic and relaxing feel and enjoy!

Mulling Spice foot soak- What’s the point of letting precious mulling spices end up in the back of your larder once the holiday season is over? Take your mulling spices which include cinnamon, cloves, dried orange peels, all spice berries, star anise and black cardamom and make a spice bag out of it. Now simmer these mulling spices in two liters of water and reduce to half. Take this concoction and add to your foot bath along with orange peel strips and a few drops of orange essential oil and add enough warm water to cover your feet. The spices have anti inflammatory qualities and the orange peels and oils soothe and condition your skin. Feel happy and think warm thoughts while soaking up.

Refreshing foot soak- Spend a long time in heels or want to give your feet some relief after that mega shopping trip? Then this peppermint and eucalyptus foot soak is for you. You will need:

½ cup of baking soda

½ cup of Epsom salt

15 drops of peppermint essential oil

10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil

Take a basin full of hot water and add all of these ingredients to it. Once the salts have dissolved a bit put your feet in. relax as the anti inflammatory peppermint oil works its wonders on your tired feet and soak up the delicious tingling of the eucalyptus oil. A fifteen minutes soak will refresh and rejuvenate your feet.

Vinegar Foot Bath- Say bye bye to smelly feet with this vinegar foot bath. You will need two cap full of apple cider vinegar and 10 drops of thyme essential oil. Add these two ingredients with a handful of Epsom salt to a hot foot bath. Soak your feet in for 15 minutes daily and see how the thyme and vinegar kill the odor causing bacteria and leave your feet stink free.
